Robertson Homes is seeking candidates for our Land Development Project Manager position with experience in infrastructure/civil construction. We are growing and looking for someone to grow with us.
Responsibilities
· Providing on-site direct supervision of land development personnel and subcontractors in all phases of the land development process
· Assist with all land development field due diligence and investigations
· Assist in the development of MS Project land development schedules and maintain/update them during development
· Assist in the creation of all land development budgets and forecasts as directed
· Prepare progress reports to effectively drive field production
· Participate in value engineering input on all final designs for cost savings
· Assist in the development of land development estimates and purchase all land development contracts, review scopes of work and quality control standards as directed
· Participate in dirt balance analysis based on site specific information
· Schedule preconstruction meetings
· Make frequent site visits to evaluate progress, identify and resolve issues, provide guidance, maintain communication and evaluate/authorize change orders as needed.
· Monitor, coordinate and schedule soil erosion and sediment control measures.
· Schedule and oversee the installation of all amenity and common area improvements, including pulling permits needed, etc. (Irrigation, monument sign, gazebos, boardwalks, etc.)
· Responsible for all franchise utility design, applications, fees, and installation monitoring for sites.
· Attending all land development meetings, production meetings, land acquisition meetings, and project meetings as directed
· Assist in training production staff in land development installation procedures
· Coordinate/obtain acceptance of bond maintenance and bond release on projects.
· Monitoring land development budgets and managing change order requests
· Conducting Production turnover meetings
· Working with Land Acquisition to review sites and review preliminary cost estimates as directed
· Maintaining historical cost numbers for all LD projects
· Adhering to RB Mission Statement and Principles of Operation
· Administering all land development safety programs per OSHA standards
Qualifications
Prefer minimum of 1-2 years of Land Development management experience
A college degree isn’t required, but is preferred. A college degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture
