The Mill Pond is the gathering place of the downtown and the symbol of the City. It is known throughout the community and many of its neighbors. Through various efforts by the DDA, Brighton is a very walkable downtown. Its wide sidewalks, lighted crosswalks, tridge, and adequate streetlights provide a comfortable atmosphere for pedestrians. Further, the downtown as a whole is a very attractive place. It provides an excellent mix of modern and historical architecture. These factors together provide for a visually appealing place to congregate, shop, dine, and conduct business.
