Residential Home Superintendent

Major Goals & Responsibilities

  • Overall management, planning, and coordination of finish home building operations
  • Supervise subcontractors & staff, budgets, schedules, and construction projects effectively
  • Conduct quality checks, in line production, and safety inspections to assure compliance with RH Quality Standards and Scopes of Work
  • Control the budget – monitor and recommend ways to minimize construction variances from budgets
  • Consult with VP of Production for problems encountered
  • Conduct homebuyer’s seminar, pre-drywall, and pre-closing orientation meetings
  • Service customer from sales hand-off through warranty period
  • Produce weekly construction schedules using RH’s scheduling system and forecast delivery dates.
  • Discretion to make purchases within budget
  • Maintain a clean and pleasing appearance both in the homes under construction, and the exterior job site and community where under construction

Work Experience

  • Prefer at least three years of construction management experience in residential or commercial
  • A college degree isn’t required, but is preferred. A college degree in construction management is a big plus.

  • Produce weekly construction schedules using RH’s scheduling system and forecast delivery dates.
  • Administer Warranty as assign by VP of Production
  • Discretion to make purchases within budget
  • Work Experience

    • A few years construction experience. The construction experience can be in the trades, remodeling, insurance, etc. Does not have to be construction management experience.
    • A college degree isn’t required, but is preferred.
    Maintain a clean and pleasing appearance both in the homes under construction, and the exterior job site and community where under construction
