Founded in 1945 by brothers Covert Robertson and Paul Robertson Sr., Robertson Homes has been building quality homes and thoughtfully planned communities across Metro Detroit for 80 years. The company’s second generation—led by Paul C. Robertson Jr. alongside his brother David W. Robertson—expanded that original vision, strengthening Robertson Homes’ reputation for craftsmanship, integrity, and neighborhood-focused design. Their leadership helped shape Robertson Homes into one of Michigan’s longest-standing new home builders.

Today, Robertson Homes is guided by a seasoned leadership team that blends generational continuity with modern strategy. CEO James V. Clarke, who joined the company in 1990, played a pivotal role in leading Robertson Homes through the Great Recession and positioning the company for long-term stability. President Darian L. Neubecker brings nearly two decades of financial and operational leadership, helping align strategic planning with day-to-day execution. COO Robert M. Doil’s career with Robertson Homes began as an intern, and his hands-on experience across nearly every facet of construction provides a builder’s perspective that reinforces the company’s commitment to quality and efficiency.

Along with our devoted team members that specialize in the many facets of home building, our company possesses the ability to accommodate various types of living spaces, from single-family homes to condos, to meet the ever-changing demands of the Metro Detroit marketplace.
