What can I expect during a new construction home warranty process?

We have a one-year builder warranty that covers pretty much everything on the home, and we have a two-year mechanical warranty that comes included with the home. All the other items in the home have extended warranties, or manufacturers’ warranties, so your roof will be warranted or your basement for example from the company that installed the product. You'll meet your warranty coordinator at the orientation, and she (or he) will give you a list of all your warranty items. After that we have a two-month care visit. We’ll just tweak anything that’s come up. Maybe one of your cabinets isn't closing properly, or a door maybe is a little wonky. We'll come back and fix those items and then we have an eleven-month walk through with the warranty coordinator where you can get all your paint touch-ups completed and any other items that have come up over the year.

What Our Homebuyers Are Saying

Ron was an absolute joy to work with. He is an absolute professional - very knowledgeable, extremely responsive to any request, always willing to go the extra mile and an absolute job to work with. Our design director, Tracey, our eventual sales representative were all outstanding. We are delighted with our new home. The overall design is very appealing and convenient. The master suite is wonderful and the open floor plan is delightful. Even the garage is the perfect size. In general, it more than meets our expectations. The quality is excellent.
