What deposits are needed to build a new home?

There are only three times that you need to give us deposit money.

At the reservation, we require just a small deposit to hold the site and that's fully refundable. That gives us some time to work out um any of the structural items that you might want to put in stone and gives you time to get your pre-approval done.

After that reservation agreement, we then go to the purchase agreement and at the purchase agreement we collect an earnest money deposit.

After that the only other time any money is required is when you go to the design studio. At that point you'll put another deposit down. And that's all that's due before closing.

What Our Homebuyers Are Saying

Matt is a fantastic sales representative who wears the face of Robertson Brothers very well, working with him during the home buying process was a joy and effortless. My next home purchase (in 5 year) I will definitely be reaching out to Matt at Robertson. Noel is by far the hardest worker in the entire Robertson Brothers company, and I mean that with all sincerity. I checked on my home builder progress on a weekly basis and now matter how busy Noel was he always made sure to say hello to me and answered any questions I had. I only called/texted him a couple times and he got back to me in minutes every time. He even helped me with two warranty issues after I moved in and he resolved each within 24 hours of me texting him. This guy is fantastic and I seriously hope his hard work is appreciated within the company.
