What is the timeline for building a new home?

The building timeline is going to vary based on the type of home that you purchase here at Robertson Brothers. We build town homes, single-family homes and luxury detached condos. If you're looking at a town home the process typically takes about 5 to 7 months. We do start those a little bit earlier than we do for our single-family and luxury condos. Single-family homes take about 8 to 10 months and the reason being is that typically you are able to design the home from start to finish, meaning you'll pick out your framing options with the salesperson as well as go to our design studio and personalize the interior. Our luxury detached condos tend to be more of a custom home, and those take roughly about 12 months. You're going to go through everything in the home with the salesperson and our designer.
